Psychological Aspect
Many researchers didn't realize the importance of psychological factors until recent decades. A person’s psychological status in space is
actually quite crucial to the function of that person. Studies have been done
on confinement, such as how do astronauts respond to the limited amount of
space that they are bound to while in space?

Researchers found that long-term confinement of a small space can trigger social problems such as depression, anxiety and cognitive impairment. The loss of privacy also has a substantial effect on the psychological status of the astronaut. In space astronauts are being constantly watched by the cams that are observing their life. This surveillance causes stress, fatigue, depression and anxiety which add to an already extreme mental health burden.
